Our Roller Compacted Concrete (RCC) Technical Expert Fares Abdo, recently spoke at The National Concrete Consortium (NC²) conference in Savannah, GA. The conference program included a site visit to several projects, one of which was the Ocean Terminal RCC project, completed by Morgan Corp. in 2012. As a testament to the durability and quality of the product, after 11 years of consistent use, there has been zero maintenance to date.

“The 7 inch RCC on 9 inch cement treated base pavement has been providing exceptional performance under various loading conditions,” said Fares. “A special thanks to all FHWA and DOT representatives, academia, consultants, materials suppliers, and contractors who joined us at the Ocean Terminal to observe RCC road application.”
