Comprehensive Water Resource Solutions
Critical Infrastructure & Construction SolutionsCritical infrastructure keeps communities running, from storing drinking water and controlling floods to generating power and protecting public safety. As these systems age, communities grow, and weather events increase the need for repairs and upgrades, maintaining them requires specialized experience and proven expertise.
Morgan Corp. delivers in-house construction solutions for demanding water resource projects, including dams, reservoirs, spillways, and emergency repairs. By bringing together the capabilities of our civil and industrial teams, we execute scopes of work in demanding environments, helping clients and neighbors alike strengthen essential assets and support long-term water management.

Case Study
Emergency Response: Lake Lure Dam SafetyAt Lake Lure, Morgan Corp. helped strengthen dam safety through the installation of a new reservoir drain system designed to provide enhanced emergency drawdown capabilities at the town’s high-hazard multiple arch-buttress dam.
Delivered in collaboration with the engineer, the project required a highly technical approach, including access road construction, sewer relocation, excavation, dewatering, rock removal, selective demolition, and the construction of a reinforced mass concrete encasement to support the new drain system.
Despite localized flooding and debris impacts from Hurricane Helene near project completion, the team successfully installed and commissioned the new reservoir drain, providing the Town of Lake Lure with enhanced emergency response capabilities and a stronger foundation for long-term dam safety.
